One handed sausage roll

You know when you’re eating a baguette & as you bite it all the filling falls out the end. Well as I can only use one hand to feed with, I was forced to find a new way of holding it together.
Use some wooden stakes to pin the thing together. If you don’t have these then standard cocktail stick would suffice.
The best pizza

Chuffed! My local supermarket have just started to sell my favourite frozen pizza - which also happens to be the best. The Goodfellas Pepperoni Stonebaked Ciabatta. Now I only have to get off my fat arse & waddle 5mins down the road to get it. Eveyone really should try one of these.
Kentucky Fried Cruelty

Yesterday PETA released their disturbing results of their undercover investigation into a Pilgrim’s Pride slaughterhouse in Moorefield, W.Va. (USA) which KFC selected as their “Supplier Of The Year”.
Along with their findings PETA caught many acts of animal cruelty on camera. I’ve watched some of it & I’m not vegatarian, but I wont ever be buying from KFC again.

Gourmet Burger King

Went to the Gourmet Burger Kitchen last night in Chiswick with a couple of buddies. Trevor was starving & boasted he could eat 2 burgers. Seeing as my partner & myself would be full from sharing 1 burger & 2 fries I felt a challenge coming on. If he could eat 2 burgers of my choice from the GBK Menu plus 1 whole portion of chips, then I would I would pay for the lot.
Round one started him off with a Chilli Burger, which I thought would warm his stomach. But this proved to be no problem at all, instead a face of determination & a clean plate before I had got half way through my simple cheese burger. Round two would be the mighty Kiwi Burger (beetroot, egg, pineapple, cheese, salad & relish) - quite a mouthful.
Top pub grub

Went to The Devonshire House last night for a special meal out. It’s 3rd on Chiswick’s restaurant poll & I can see why. I can also see why wealthy people manage to keep slim - the portions look tiny! Honestly though, quantity is perfect & the quality is not far off either.
